Rotaract Shanghai (link) hosted its 5th Run in Blue, a 5 km race in Century Park in support of a different charity every year. The Club does a superb job, not only in organizing this event.

Therefore, Rotary Shanghai Pudong Lujiazui volunteered two runners in support of the good cause.  Runners gathered from as early as 7.00 am at the entrance of Century Park to collect their blue running shirt, start number and pin. The crowd warmed up with yoga and fitness before getting into starting position. At 9.06 am about 800 runners hit the track and raced around Century Park. Our runners followed the Olympic motto:”Taking part is everything” and finished with the mass of the runners. Rotaract took care of the exhausted runners with water and sandwiches.
